Finally, a vastly improved HTML5 build - Update 20200720
After much work I have managed to improve the HTML5 version considerably , although the Windows executable is still the best version of the game, the experience is almost on par now, with all the visual glitches solved and fps drops almost gone.
Besides this important improvements, I have improved the AI in the newer tracks and started drawing new Formula Pretend pixel art. You will see a couple of these new cars mixed with the old ones, try them out and tell me what do you think!
Update notes for build 20200720
- Fixed visual glitches in HTML5 splitscreen
- Changed lap counter to show first lap as 1 instead of 0
- Improved AI at Phillip Island
- Improved AI at Catalunya
- Improved cars shadows
- Started reworking the pixelart of the Formula Pretend cars
Known issues
- Controllers in the HTML5 version of the game don't work on Chromium based browsers. Firefox and Edge (old) work, but Chrome and the new Edge doesn't. Its a known bug in Gamemaker 1.4 and nothing I can solve from my side.
